Hello.
My name is Christa.
I am a Mother to 3 boys and a wife.
I love to entertain.
Like, a lot.
I mean a lot, a lot.
Like there’s usually something going on at my house, on average, every month. At least.
So, naturally, spills are bound to happen.
Like this one.

I don’t know how it got there?
Spilled juice?
Perhaps?
Spilled soda?
Yeah, probably so?
All I know is that it showed up and has been staring me in the face ever since!
We had a professional carpet cleaner come over to the house to clean it before my youngest sons birthday party this year. And, in hind site, I’m thinking “Why would I do that? It’s just going to get messy again, right?!”
In any case, the carpet cleaner came out and when all was said and done, he said that he wouldn’t be able to get the stain out. It was too embedded into the fibers.
*sigh*
So, I left it. For months I left it thinking it was a lost cause and we’d just have to face the facts that we’d need new carpet in a few years.
And then one day, while happily Pinning away one of my favorite inspirational sites Pinterest, I found this woman who had the same carpet stain and she cleaned it with, get this, things I already had in my kitchen!
Could it really be this easy? No. way.
I just had to try it!
